No. On Mercajob, the rules of hiring are flipped: you show what you can do, and companies come to you by asking to talk.

Yes, that is the whole idea. Instead of searching at one specific moment, when the right offers are not necessarily posted, you create your profile once and set your status to “Open to offers”. It stays visible to companies, who come and offer to talk the day they have a role that fits you. You only reply if the opportunity interests you.

Your profile is anonymous: companies see your job, your skills and your career, but not your name, your contact details or the names of your employers. You can also block a specific company, or hide your profile at any time.

Only the companies whose request you accept. Until you accept, they only see an anonymous profile.

Import your CV (PDF or Word) or the PDF export of your LinkedIn profile: we pre-fill your job title, city, years of experience, skills and summary. All you have to do is check.

A simulated 25-minute work morning, in one of the available themes (the first sector available is banking and insurance): emails, data, documents, a teammate to stay in sync with and an AI assistant you are encouraged to use, just like at work, with a limited credit. As in real life, the assistant can make mistakes (one of its answers deliberately contains an error) and some content may be misleading: we also look at how you check facts and protect customer data. You go through quick tasks and an analysis, adapt your plan to a change of context, write a short summary, then a brief review of how you used AI. Scoring is done by fixed rules, never by AI, criterion by criterion and with the reasons. You see your result and choose whether companies can see it; you can retake it after 30 days.

In your space, the profile menu (top right) lets you download all your data and delete your account: your profile and documents are then erased.

Your profile is visible as long as you are available. Every month, we ask you to confirm your situation in one click (Actively looking, Open to offers or Not available): without confirmation for 45 days, your profile is paused so that companies only contact available talent.

You can ask a former manager or colleague to confirm, in one click, that they worked with you. Companies see how many references are confirmed, and their comments only after you accept their request.

Access is free, with no subscription and no job ads to post. When you hire a talent you met on Mercajob, you pay 5% of their fixed gross annual salary (excl. VAT), once, and only once their probation period is completed. If it is not completed, you owe nothing.

Request access from the Companies page. Every company is verified by the Mercajob team; once your request is approved, you receive an email to create your password.

Search by skills, experience, city or salary expectations, then ask to talk. If the talent accepts, you receive their identity and CV and can message them, suggest a meeting or send them a test from the messaging area.

So that talent can be visible without risk, even while employed, and so that selection is based on skills first. Their identity is shared as soon as the talent accepts your request.

When you hire a talent you met on Mercajob, declare it from the conversation (the “Declare a hire” button). Mercajob follows the probation period and asks you to confirm it at the end: the commission is only invoiced at that point.
